GROOVE TERMINATOR aka GT began DJ'ing professionally in Adelaide at age 13. His local radio show pioneered new forms of music and established his reputation at the forefront of Australian dance music. He is respected as a DJ / artist, producer, performer, mixer and remixer. The GT Live set incorporates the beats and infectious grooves that have pumped dance floors all across the country and around the world. Welcome to GT's house! He is acknowledged as the premier remixer in this country with credits including most of Australia's major recording artists from Savage Garden to Grinspoon and internationals like Dead or Alive, Byron Stringley and Jeremy Healey.

As a performing DJ he is a recognized tastemaker. He currently maintains monthly residences at interstate clubs and venues. He tours internationally at least twice a year including in 2000 (the schedule includings London, New York, Miami, LA Ibiza, Germany and Austria). He has played alongside all the major international electronic artists including Colin The Prodigy, Carl Cox, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Jungle Brothers, Jeremy Healy and John Digweed. He was again selected (for the fourth time) to tour nationally with the Big Day Out confirming his status as Australia Premier DJ. His Apollo 440 set on the main stage between Daft Punk and Ultra Nate live in Sydney and Melbourne last year is still being hailed as a monster!

GT's first single "Losing Ground" charted extentsively throughout Australia and Asia and resulted in recognition of GT's talent by the mainstream music industry with 2 ARIA nominations for Best New Talent and Best New Video. He received the award for Best Producer at the inaugural Australaian Dance Music Awards in July and is again ARIA nominated for Best Male Artist for 2000.

The follow up singles "Here Come Another One" - co-written with GT and Scottish producer Stuart Crichton - and "One More Time (The Sunshine Song)" which samples the Fifth Dimensions "Let The Sunshine In" from Hair - both scored alternate and commercial radio and videoplay in Australia securing GT's position as one of the most high profile dance artists in the country.

In February 2000, "Road Kill" was road tested to the Australian media to much acclaim. GT has taken all the music he loves - punk, hip-hop, techno, house and mashed them, leaving the rough edges and sheer energy of the songs intact. "Road Kill" is hard to pigeonhole musically, it's one of the freshest albums in a long time, one that will rock dancefloors, yet at the same time impress a far bigger audience than just the club crowd.

November 2000 sees the release of the third single in the shape of "You Can't See" featuring America's most out-there MC, Kool Keith on vocals, and a groove that pays homage to both Primal Scream's "Loaded" and the Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the Devil". Throw in to the melting pot a remix by Apollo 440 and Kenny Dope and you have makings of a killer single.

Throughout the year, GT has taken the "Road Kill" experience out on the road, and in doing so has landed himself a great reputation as a live act, whether supporting rock acts such as Australia's Grinspoon or touring with the more conventional Ministry Of Sound Club Nation tour.

Internationally, Groove Terminator will be releasing his debut album through Virgin France and has been confirmed to perform at the influential "les Transmusicales de Rennes" festival on 30th November.
